Happy New Year to the Future Freedom delegation!
It might sound cliché, but I hope you all had a great holiday season and enjoyed spending time with your family and loved ones. 2018 will mark the first full year of Future Freedom’s existence, and we intend to achieve great things together with our members. Thank you for your continued support.
I would like to share with you all our mission. I have had some time to think about what our mission should be, and what value we can bring to the world. My major inspiration for creating a mission comes from two highly innovative, and important companies that I believe will move humanity forward in a positive way.
Those two companies are huge now from a financial standpoint and their products are used by many, many, people on a daily basis. Facebook, and their mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. The second is Tesla, and they seek to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Mission statements often change over time, but they are extremely important to remind everybody both within and outside the company of the reason why they build their products and services each and every day. Companies that only motivated to earn large profits are virtually guaranteed to fail, but those that can create valuable products and services for all of humanity to use are very likely to be successful.
Now, I don’t tell have to tell you that both of these companies have been criticized for their negative effects on society and have been told many times that they are doomed to fail. Technology is not inherently “good”, it is up to use the tools and platforms that are out there in a positive way and for government to create laws and regulations so that things don’t get out of hand quickly. “People spend too much time on Facebook and other forms of social media”. “Tesla’s vehicles are too expensive and impractical to use on a daily basis when compared to cars that run on gasoline”. I think it’s important to remember that both these companies are less than 15 years old, and have been extremely successful so far which is why I believe everything they do is analyzed under a very BIASED microscope (Fake news anybody?). I am very confident that one day Tesla’s vehicles will be affordable for those who choose to purchase a Tesla electric vehicle and I’m also confident that Facebook’s platforms will continue to build powerful online communities that can be used to benefit “real-life” communities and bring the world closer together in a positive way.
So those were my inspirations for Future Freedom’s mission, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have such inspirational companies to look up to. Our mission will also be short and sweet, and everything we create for our members will be made with our mission in mind.
Future Freedom Education’s mission is to teach our members how to become financially literate and in control of their own finances.
Our mission is so important because we want all our members to live the lifestyle that they want to live. Members will have access to our club sessions, and will also have access to their own personal mentor that they can talk to freely about anything that’s going on in their lives. We also want to create useful programs so that we can teach financial literacy in schools for students, as well as in companies for employees.
Our mission certainly gets me fired up and excited about what we can accomplish! Over time we will expand on our ideas and I’m sure we’ll also come up with some new ones. Thanks again for joining us on this journey and I wish you all the best in 2018!
